The WRS Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for the running and accounting of the WRS merchandise and online Shop. This role includes creating business strategies to make the shop profitable, careful sourcing, ordering and management of stock and timely dispatch of orders, sourcing and providing relevant merchandise for WRS events throughout the year, either to sell or promote the charity and its work. The Merchandise Coordinator will keep accurate records of stock and revenue, in accordance with accountancy best practices. 

As part of the WRS Operations Team, the Respite Care Facility Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager 

The Respite Care Facility Manager is responsible for the management of the WRS Respite Facility at Gorran Haven, including running a calendar for bookings, facilitating essential and planned maintenance, ensuring that the respite facility is ‘turned around’ and ready for occupancy 4 hours following it being vacated.

Knowledge of social media platforms and IT efficiency is essential, along with knowledge and understanding of the work of WRS. The key objective is to increase the profile of the charity by promotion and engagement with a wider community through the WRS websites and relevant online platforms.

Role will include liaison and collaboration with relevant charities and organisations, advertising and promotion, event planning and general engagement with the general public and our own community.
