Support for You

Royal Navy personnel (active and retired)  seeking support have a variety of resources available to help with both practical and emotional needs. The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) provides financial assistance, mental health services, and community programs tailored to naval veterans.

Veterans can also access services through the Royal British Legion, which offers advice on pensions, housing, and wellbeing support. For mental health and counselling, organizations like Combat Stress and Veterans UK provide confidential guidance and treatment options.

Additionally, local veterans’ hubs and community groups (such as the RNA, local Submariners Association groups), and chat forums (such as RN Subs) often offer social support, networking, and peer mentorship, helping former service members transition smoothly into civilian life while staying connected to the naval community. For those seeking employment LinkedIn and The List can be great places to start building a professional network outside the RN. Don't forget we're on Facebook, and you might find like-minded buddies there.

You can also contact us directly - we're all volunteers so can't guarantee a swift response, but we'll do our best.
