We Remember Submariners exists to remember those who served beneath the waves — and to support those they leave behind. By laying wreaths at submarine memorials UK and worldwide, recording the stories of submariners, and offering cards, wreaths, memories, and quiet support to their families, we help ensure no submariner is forgotten and no family stands alone.
We Remember Submariners (WRS) is a not-for-profit organisation which achieved the status as a Registered Charity of England & Wales as of December 2017.
Since 2019 we have introduced a subscribing membership scheme through which we raise funds through donations, events and the sale of our unique annual Memorial Pins, plus other items of memorabilia, the funds being used to remember past, present and future Submariners and their families, including the offer of use of a Respite Caravan in Cornwall.
We are expanding our charitable work as the We Remember Submariners charity continues to grow, gaining members and experience every year.
Funds remaining at the end of each year, after all deductions, are held in reserve or partially donated to submarine-related charities.
