Who we help

Since becoming a registered charity in 2017, We Remember Submariners has primarily benefited serving and former submariners, their families, and organisations connected to the Royal Navy Submarine Service. Its support has included providing memorial items (such as “Moly” pins, wreaths, and condolence cards) directly to bereaved families, as well as practical assistance to individuals—such as funding mobility equipment for retired submariners—and signposting welfare services where needed.

In addition, the charity has distributed donations to a wide range of affiliated groups and community causes, including submarine welfare funds, cadet units, memorial restoration projects, and charitable organisations supporting health, children, and veterans. These beneficiaries reflect a broad focus on remembrance, welfare, and community support within and beyond the submariner community.
