The WRS Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for the running and accounting of the WRS merchandise and online Shop. This role includes creating business strategies to make the shop profitable, careful sourcing, ordering and management of stock and timely dispatch of orders, sourcing and providing relevant merchandise for WRS events throughout the year, either to sell or promote the charity and its work. The Merchandise Coordinator will keep accurate records of stock and revenue, in accordance with accountancy best practices.

- Ensure accurate records of stock, revenue and purchase orders are kept up to date. These will be audited on a regular basis.
- Estimate required stock levels and ensure that they are kept at a proportional level to maximise profits.
- Create and deploy a merchandising strategy, which maximises profitability over the financial year, ensures that new products are selected with intelligence and introduced in the most cost-effective way.
- Access the WRS website E-Shop and monitor all orders.
- Conduct market research before purchasing new items for the WRS online catalogue.
- Source branded goods at competitive prices for sale in the WRS Online Shop.
- Liaise closely with the Operations Manager, to maintain the online shop.
- Liaise closely with the WRS Events Coordinator to ensure stock requirements are met.
- Provide a monthly summary of actions undertaken, to the Operations Manager.
- Attend monthly Operations Team meetings.
