The 2024 Memorial Pin represents those submariners who have Crossed the Bar over the period 1st January - 31st December 2023
Gold Poppy recipients will have been a serving UK submariner or a current member of WRS who was also a submarine veteran.
The pin is sent automatically to current WRS Members and is available for general purchase in the online shop.
There was one submarine loss in 1924, HMS L24 that sank following a collision with HMS Resolution in January 1924. This is represented by the single red poppy.
The cypher of King Charles III is in the centre of the pin.
WRS has been informed of 165 submariners crossing the bar in 2023, of which 9 qualify for a gold poppy.
